Gap in Mobile Emissions: Bug Discovered
Summary
- A bug was found that resulted in excessive emissions of MOBILE tokens.
- The bug caused around 1.5 million excess MOBILE tokens to be emitted within a 135-day period.

Gap in Mobile Emissions: Bug Discovered
Developers are investigating an over emissions to veHNT delegators of MOBILE subDAO. They have found that a little under 1.5m MOBILE tokens were over-emitted to delegators during the last 135 days (about 11,309 MOBILE per day proportionally spread across all delegators). This particular issue has been resolved and will be reflected in the next epoch boundary t:1702512000:f. Further root cause analysis is in progress to address any other issues. The Helium Foundation will provide an updated report to the MOBILE Working Group on December 14, 2023.
