Exciting update for the @Community, October 2023 marks the exciting launch of new Governance "Office Hours" sessions.

What Are Governance Office Hours?

These sessions will be open to all interested community members and provide an open forum for several topics, including:

• Discussion and questions on the governance of Helium’s Network.
• Exploring community expectations from the Helium Foundation governance team.
• Understanding what the community expects from Foundation members and vice-versa to enhance governance.

Over the coming weeks, the working groups will focus on ideas proposed in the "Future of Helium Governance" document. This will serve as a basis for a draft charter for a proposed Governance Committee aimed at establishing a majority community membership while decentralizing network changes, governance, HIP creation, and approvals—with the Foundation acting as a guide and steward.

When are the Meetings?

The meetings will be scheduled at different times each month to accommodate Helium’s global community. Below are the times and days for October:
