📱The Helium Wallet v2.5.0 Update (Android & iOS)
The Helium Wallet v2.5.0 release adds several new features for the Helium community:
▶ Allow users to self-onboard Hotspots when Makers do not have enough Data Credits ▶ Better handling of token conversion for location assertion ▶ Adds swap warning when the size of the swap has a significant market impact
Although the update allows self-onboarding of Hotspots and is a workaround, owners must have enough HNT or DC. In almost all cases, manufacturers sold Hotspots with the expectation that they'd cover onboarding costs. This release doesn't remove them from this or other responsibilities.
This release also resolves several bugs reported by the ecosystem.
The developers of the Helium ecosystem strongly recommend an upgrade to v2.5.0.
