What is this network?
The Lithium Network is a decentralized data management layer for IoT and AI DePIN applications. It manages private data, keeps it private to its owner, and provides a way to monetize public data.
What kind of IoT solutions will the Lithium Network support?
The network will support any IoT solution that can benefit from decentralization and fair data monetization.

The Data Pools design offers a way for applications to use data generated by other apps, thus creating intersections of the data and enabling endless possibilities for new use cases.
What are the Data Pools?
With the vast explosion of IoT solutions, businesses, institutions, and even ordinary people in their smart homes use tens of different applications simultaneously that usually do not integrate. This leads to many missed opportunities to use all the data they already have for even better results, and at the same time, leads to huge overhead to manage and maintain all systems.
Developers can create any app using the Lithium Data Layer, organizing it into pools. Different applications can use both their data and data provided by other apps.

Lithium Safety App - The first use case
Emergency responders often arrive too late. The second most committed to protecting property from floods, robberies, and especially fire, after the owners of the property, are their neighbors. The Lithium Safety App aims to provide a tool for residential communities to help each other if a disaster happens.
Simultaneously, the Lithium Safety App will collect valuable information over time that is valuable for insurance companies, real estate developers, investors, municipalities, and governments who will pay to get aggregated data about the disasters that happen. This data is often very segregated and possessed by different stakeholders who are not sharing it with others (or they are selling it for their profit). Being part of The Lithium Network, the Lithium Safety App will reward users when corporations or municipalities pay for that data.

How can I mine tokens?
The Lithium Network is under development, so you cannot mine tokens yet. But you can earn points by joining the Lithium Safety App, onboarding sensors, and keeping them active. The Lithium points are awarded daily, and the longer you keep them active, the higher daily rewards you will get. After TGE there will be several airdrops where tokens will be awarded according to the points you have earned in the beta.
Any geographical restrictions?
The sensors used for the Lithium Safety App operate on the Helium Network. Therefore, they can be used in any country where Helium is allowed.
How can users optimize their mining rewards?
At this stage, the only way to optimize rewards is to keep the sensors connected.
How can the network be used?
The network can be accessed through the Lithium Safety App.
Who governs this network?
After the Mainnet Launch, a DAO will be established so the network is governed by the community, as any DePIN project should be in the long run.
