Crankk: One-Click Multimining
Crankk is a distributed network built on Kadena's Proof of Work Network, leveraging Proof-of-Network-Participation to expand the utility of the ecosystem into IoT applications. Crankk consists of a network of LoRa gateway nodes governed by Kadena’s Layer 1 Pact Smart Contracts, enabling seamless integration of real-world events into smart contracts and blockchain technology.
The primary objective of Crankk is to develop and maintain a LoRaWAN network that provides robust coverage for IoT devices like smart meters and GPS trackers. Node operators are incentivized by earning tokens through their participation in the network, periodically proving their coverage areas. Crankk is not just building a network; it's creating a bridge between IoT technology and blockchain, enhancing the functionality and reach of both.
