Technology

The core of AquaSave's ecosystem includes β€œAquaBank”, set of IoT devices that provide real-time data on water quality and usage, helping to minimize water consumption and waste. Through them, users can obtain real-time information about the status of the water network and earn AquaCoin ($AQC) tokens through our ecosystem of anonymous data sales.

The first model, AquaBank Saver, is a device patented and sold internationally for more than 10 years. With this compact device that is installed under the sink, when water is used before it is hot, it is recirculated through the cold water pipes without wasting a single drop, until it reaches the desired temperature, resulting in significant savings of both water and energy. Once the water reaches the temperature chosen by the user, the device allows the water to exit the faucet.

It also includes some other functions like monitoring pressure, and flow levels, detecting bad quality in the water, eliminating legionella, detecting water leaks and losses, and preventing frozen pipes. Additionally, it is the first IoT device designed to provide information and recommendations for efficient water and energy usage. It allows programming the desired temperature, generating alerts, and having hot water available throughout the water network.

AquaSave also enhances its ecosystem through the AquaSave App, AquaSave Platform and AquaSave Explorer, designed to facilitate effective water management. The app allows users to monitor their water usage in real-time, set schedules, and access historical data, ensuring convenience and efficiency. The AquaSave Platform provides a visual representation of water consumption trends, integrating data from all registered devices to help users and institutions understand and manage the water usage more effectively where we can also use the explorer to see the situation of the planet in an integrated way.

Blockchain

The entire process is underpinned by the Solana Blockchain, ensuring data authenticity and origin. AquaSave utilizes Solana for its exceptional capabilities in handling high transaction volumes swiftly and economically, its rapid processing times, extensive scalability, environmental sustainability, and its continually growing ecosystem. Additionally, there are plans to make AquaSave a multichain project to enhance interoperability and broaden its technological framework.

Governance and Funding

AquaSave operates under a decentralized governance model, allowing collective decision-making by network participants. Funding is primarily through an Initial Decentralized Offering (IDO) and Seed Round planned by the end of Q2 2024.
