charge.xyz is a DePIN that makes electric vehicle charging as easy and accessible as regular gas refills, with the community behind the wheel and no need to invest in additional infrastructure. Built on peaq, the layer-1 blockchain for DePIN and Machine RWAs, charge enables owners of private and residential charging stations to open them to the public and monetize their unused capacity. Through the charge app, available for iOS and Android, electric vehicle owners can find available private chargers in their vicinity and book a session. charge will be an open, decentralized solution that can be run and governed by all stakeholders - from OEMs and Charge Point Operators to MSPs and Energy Providers. The solution solves the fragmentation issue by democratizing the charging infrastructure and making its digital elements neutral - not owned or run by one central entity, but by all stakeholders, whether collaborating or competing.

Once set up, you can log your charging sessions through the app Users without an EV or a private charging station can participate by providing feedback on public chargers and rating them. Linking your social media accounts, engaging in educational activities within the charge academy, and inviting others to join the network with your referral code are also ways to earn credits.
