How can I mine Session tokens?

Session Tokens are earnt through participation in the Session Network. Staked nodes which secure the network, store messages, and route traffic for the messaging protocol earn rewards.

Note that Session Token has not yet been generated.

How can I optimize my Session mining rewards?

Registered and active nodes in the Session Network receive equal rewards.

The protocol does allow for multi-contributor nodes, wherein multiple parties combine stakes to create one full stake. In a multi-contributor node, the operator (who hosts and runs the node software) may set a fee to account for the work and resources required to operate the node.

How can I use the Session network?

Anyone can utilise the Session Network by using the Session application. With end-to-end encryption, no phone number to sign up, metadata hardening, and decentralised infrastructure, Session allows users to send messages with privacy and security.

You can also run or contribute to a node to participate directly in the Session Network.

Who governs this Session network?

The network is permissionless and self-governing. Session Nodes observe and enforce expected good behaviour, such as storing messages and remaining online and contactable.

Nodes which behave poorly may be deregistered from the network, stopping node rewards and preventing locking staked tokens for a period of time.
