What is Bistroo Crypto?

Current meal-ordering and delivery market leaders follow an unsustainable path of never-ending price increases to squeeze restaurants and consumers for earnings. They've acquired marketshare the last decade at any price, amounting to major company losses, and now that they've positioned themselves as market-leaders they are increasing fees and prices endlessly across the board.

Bistroo is a fully Software-as-a-Service based ecosystem, connecting restaurants directly with their customers. We save restaurants time, money and frustration. With Bistroo, restaurants can serve their customers with significantly lower fees and receive instant payouts. The ecosystem allows them to be in full control of their digital identity. Both customers and merchants can earn rewards by contributing to the BIST ecosystem or access protocol services against significantly reduced fees.

Any geographical Bistroo restrictions?

There’s currently over 80,000 active users in both the merchant and consumer verticals in our validator market that are using the Bistroo Ecosystem to sell and order food. Later this year, the global rollout of Bistroo.com will follow, after which restaurants can be onboarded globally.

How can I use the Bistroo network?

The network can be used in both the consumer and merchant vertical:

Consumer:

• Purchase your food using BIST to get a 2% cashback discount
• Pay with crypto and get a 1% cashback in BIST tokens

Merchant:

• Merchants can ‘stake’ BIST to get even lower commision fees
• Receive financing & advanced payments on orders (DeFi)
• Use BIST for targeted advertising or rewarding loyal customers
• Unlock premium dashboard features and store enhancements

These features will be rolled out as the ecosystem is developed futher.

Who governs this Bistroo network?

Currently, governance of the Bistroo Ecosystem is managed by the Bistroo team. As a decentralized platform for restaurants and their customers we aim to integrate token-based governance in the future.
