PlanetWatch has officially transitioned to become Ambient Network, marking an exciting new chapter in decentralized environmental monitoring. Originally built on the Algorand blockchain, PlanetWatch’s network of air quality sensors and its community will now migrate to Solana, aligning with Ambient's vision to expand the platform beyond air quality to include other environmental metrics like noise and light pollution.

If you're a PlanetWatch sensor owner, your devices and rewards will now be integrated into Ambient's system, with enhanced reward structures and additional sensor capabilities. The PLANETS token is being replaced by the new Ambient token, which will power the platform moving forward. All active participants in PlanetWatch’s network have been included in a token snapshot, ensuring a seamless transition with incentives for early adopters.
