What is this network?

Silencio is a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) that leverages the power of Web3 technology to combat noise pollution. It is a community-powered network that rewards mobile users for providing accurate, hyper-local noise pollution data. The network comprises more than 40,000 users in 175 countries. The data collected is used to create a comprehensive noise pollution map, which is valuable to rethink how we value real estate, select hotels and restaurants and create more liveble cities for all. How can I mine tokens?

Users can mine Noise Coins by measuring noise levels with their smartphones using the Silencio app. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices. Once the app is installed, users can start a measurement session and check into venues. For each minute of measurement, hexagon covered/discovered and venue check ins, users earn Noise Coins.

Current users of Silencio will partake in a Beat Airdrop totaling a 3% of total token supply!

How can I optimize my mining rewards?

To optimize mining rewards, users are encouraged to frequently measure noise levels and discover new hexagons on the map. The more often users measure noise pollution and the more new areas they cover, the more Noise Coins they can earn. Additionally, users can invite friends and earn a percentage of the Noise Coins they generate.

How can I use the network?

Users can participate in the Silencio network simply by downloading the Silencio app on their smartphones. Once installed, users can start measuring noise levels in their surroundings and submit this data to the network.

The Silencio network is governed by its founders, Thomas Messerer, Theo Messerer, Eric Stotz and their team. The network operates on the Peaq Network blockchain ecosystem. The governance structure is decentralized, with the community playing a significant role in providing noise pollution data.

Silencio's core monetization strategy revolves around the sale of meticulously aggregated noise level data, primarily facilitated through its robust Application Programming Interface (API).
